Dawn Break: “… Fine, I’ll allow it this time.”
 
Blood Edge’s longsword leaves a trail of darkness as it flies toward the enemy. The fellblade lodges itself into the Titan’s body, stabbing it for four damage, and causing it to ultimately shatter.
 
From the Titan’s crumbling remains, a radiant beam of magic fires up into the sky, and clears the dark clouds above. For the first time in ages, golden rays of sunlight pierce the heavens, and arcane returns to the land…
 
Dawn Break: “You have brought peace to the valley by defeating the Titan of the Lake. Everypony gains forty-two experience points.”
 
Moonflower: “Whoa, that’s a lot of experience!”
 
Dawn Break: “Congratulations, Tailkicker and Blood Edge, you are now level… seven. Opaline and Whirlpool, you are now level… eight.
 
Tailkicker, your maximum health increases to eighteen, your maximum magic increases to nine, and you learn the spell Arc Light, which I’ve described earlier, and the spell Polarize, which uses three magic points to convert all incoming damage to magic points for the next turn.”
 
Moonflower: “Ooh, that sounds super helpful!”
 
Dawn Break: “Blood Edge, your maximum health increases to nine, your maximum magic increases to nine, and you learn the spell Hex, which uses two magic points to double the damage your target takes for the next turn, and the spell Ritual, which uses five magic points to sacrifice your health points down to one, and deal the amount of lost health as damage to all enemies around you.
 
Whirlpool, your maximum health increases to twenty, your maximum magic increases to ten, and your learn the spell Polarize, and the spell Magnetic Field, which uses five magic points to pull all enemies nearby to your location.”
 
Sea Swirl: “I can think of a few uses for this…”
 
Dawn Break: “Finally, Opaline, your maximum health increases to ten, your maximum magic increases to thirteen, and you learn the spell Meditate, which makes you vulnerable for one turn to recover half of your magic points if you are not hit, and the spell Barrier, which uses five magic points to shield the area around you from all damage for one turn.”
 
Sweet Biscuit: “Interesting.”
 
Dawn Break: “Combat has now ended. Empowered by the Titan’s arcane, Blood Edge’s longsword has been upgraded to its maximum potential, increasing its weapon damage from plus three to plus ten.”
 
Sweet Biscuit: “Alright! And now seems like a good time for a break. What do you guys think?”
