I kinda envision the three sister pairs(AJ/Applebloom, Rarity/Sweetie, Dash/Scoots) having a movie night where they start watching this new super hero show and Rainbow is kinda bummed cause super hero genre is totally overused and getting old but when they get to the after credits scene everyone is shocked and Rarity and AJ try to shield their sisters’ eyes but Rainbow is just sitting there with a big grin and shouting “Oh yeah!” when the real action starts.
I think we have different standards than. Anyway, you know the ep with Scoot’s parents, now go watch it.

Season 4 was horrible already. Or rather McCarthy’s episodes. I gave the show another try but season 5 was too much ;)

her “parents” basically left her with her Aunts (who are a gay couple :) ) and basically said “we have a job only we can do so we have her live with her aunts”

Nope. Stopped after the clusterfuck that was season 5. Only watched the occasional recommended episodes like slice of life since then.
Have you never seen the episode The Last Crusade?

Oh wow. That’s… conflicting. Not sure how to feel about that. I think it would actually have been better by the writers to make her an orphan.

yes but its debatable if they are GOOD ones since they chose a long distance job over having a daughter
