They probably have had people coming and going when the show isn’t being animated between seasons. I wish part of their hiring process involved forcing them to read Gulliver’s Travels and try to pick things up with only their palms after making their wrists slack. (Seriously try it. You can pick up and manipulate more than you’d realise. This is how the Gulliverpones utilised the ‘frogs’ on their hooves, as that strange part is called. Forcing new animators to deal with this knowledge would vastly improve sight gags I reckon.)

I love how the animators kept her movements equine-like. Recently, though, the ponies seem to move and bend more like humans. Can’t say I like that much.
