Knowing he’s Discord, the whole situation with the ending is very ambiguous.

If the true ending is it all being Discord’s imagination, then it is one season too late.

Season 1 actually had a chaotic plot, with various inconsistencies and is all short stories. But Season 2 on the other hand actually had an ongoing plot that actually looks nice and nowhere near chaotic.
