True, but you’re forgetting that most people wouldn’t consider that, since they would latch on almost immediately to the possible incest angle and perseverate on that. Human thought can be rather selective in it’s acquisition and retainment of knowledge, as you’re well aware from history and even current events.
And that is if they are even related
But from what the show hinted at they were related a few generations to the point they were no longer related in those terms
Simple. Fear of possible incest, and the backlash it would create.
That could happen in the Season 10 comic books.
