They aren’t separated like the pony of shadows.
But the Rainbooms destroys the powers of the Dazzlings completely at the end of Rainbow Rocks. They’re evil spell is broken.
It doesn’t mean they couldn’t find a way back to Equestria somehow, and maybe they’d get their powers restored.

He’s dead. But maybe some of the surviving Storm Creatures and Storm Generals that were possibly still in the Storm King’s realm that the Storm King abandoned prior to the events of the movie should have joined in.
They’re still banished to human world by Starswirl. Their powers were destroyed.

Assuming the last season went the way we expected, as in he’s not Discord, he’s prepared. Very prepared. He didn’t spent years if not decades in isolation and solitude for nothing. Cosmos is almost as easily handled as Discord whom we wished had something to do with him.
