Well they wouldn’t really come out with these specific bodies. The ones pictured use the Disney VIP dolls bodies just painted in fantasy colors. Its very normal for prototypes to use parts of existing dolls to convey an idea.
By the way, I suppose you already know but the original EG dolls already had an articulated body used in some versions most prominently in the Sporty Style and Rocking Hairstyles dolls.

These faces are both better than the original and the reboot line. They also have articulation, and the outfits are very detailed as opposed to how bank some of the old outfits felt.

I think this is the original line, not the reboot. Looks like a lot of his stuff is pre reboot
