Twilight: That said, meeting Sunset’s spirit has been an absolute pleasure. Princess Celestia got it pretty much right that if I somehow gotten the chance to meet her while she was alive, we certainly would have been good friends. Not saying we can’t be good friends with a spirit of course, as speaking with Sunset personally has been fun enough talking about our experiences as Celestia’s students and magic in general. Plus, whenever Sunset’s with her daughter Starlight… it’s almost always a pretty heartwarming moment
 
Though meeting somepony for the first time when they’re a spirit does have it’s rather bittersweet differences from meeting somepony new while they were alive. I suppose in a way I retroactively miss Sunset in that it would have been great to meet her while she was alive. But I was at most just over 3 years old when she died. So there’s not alot I can really do about that.
