True. Gilda was willingly to change, she took responsibility for being a former toxic friend which is by saving Rainbow Dash’s life.
My friend and I used to be toxic to one another. We went our separate ways until we saw each other again. Rebuilding our friendship was rocky at first, but we saw each other had changed for the better. :)

I agree. Cutting off toxic friends is a good lesson, and only take them back once they take full responsibility and apologize for what they done is a good lesson too.

I actually really liked Gilda’s redemption.  
Her falling out with Rainbow Dash was basically one bad mood, and given time, she got over it - like people actually do with bad moods. It felt pleasantly down-to-earth.

Sheesh, humans aren’t so one-note as you seem to think. People change. People can repent from their past sins. I think that is something that Hasbro tried to show with this episode, and I think they did a pretty good job with the execution.

nah for me it one great lesson, which was sometimes you have to let go of friends if they become toxic and bad for you, the fact they brought her back and undid that lesson ruined the whole point of Gilda episode
