You all saw this coming. And who better to remember this moment then the person who said that a real hero doesn’t brag… despite bragging about being a real hero earlier. That and a lot of other things that other people have mentioned happening in that episode.

True. But when the ReManing Five decided to put the plan in motion, RD wasn’t exactly putting her bragging before helping others yet. There probably should’ve been a moment in which it was evident that they did notice that.
I agree, and those are very good points.
Y’know, I honestly never thought that episode was as “bad” as alot of bronies say it is. It seems to be one of the first widely-disliked episodes of the series for some reason. I think it’s just ’cause people misunderstood the moral like they did the “Feeling Pinkie-Keen” episode. (Which some overreacted over, thinking it was anti-skepticism, and such.)
Huh… That’s… actually a good counter-argument. Good work.
“Gotta hand it to the girl, that Mare Do Well sure can pull off some pretty heroic feats.”
“And she’s modest and humble. She lets her actions speak for themselves. Gotta admire that. “
She is talking in general, things that apply to everything they all did as Mare Do Well, and in a way that works as useful advice for Rainbow Dash.
It’s ridicoulus how people keep missing the point. Rainbow Dash bragged, and it got in the way of her heroic acts; Applejack and the others celebrated their accomplishments (You know, what they say right afterwards), it wasn’t even close to Rainbow Dash, it’s not the same, haters play dumb.
when this nightmare will stop? is not there a way for me to escape from the fun killer overanalyzing?
…
wait, maybe there is a way…
It was my favorite of Season 2, too, right after A Friend In Deed, the only episode I didn’t like of that Season was Mmmystery In The Friendship Express, concerning how 3 of her friends ruined the cake, it’s still up to this day a huge Pet Peeve of mine…
I’m pretty much biased for anything involving Batman. That and it was a fun episode, even if the logic was admittedly stupid.
I agree. I actually liked it more than several other episodes, even with the implication that Twilight and her friends were massive dicks to Rainbow. To be fair, though… she sort of had it coming with the ego boost.
It was just a fun episode that some people take a bit too seriously.
Oh, alrighty then.
I’m doing a series of images showing what if the ponies remembered a moment when they’re being unfriendly or otherwise jerks to one another, just as a “well, that would have been awkward” moment. I’ve done a few of these and I felt obligated to finish off the rest.
What?
