no its a newer Hardplastic Version so no steel anymore but the look is still the same...and also still in duty in the Fire Department, EMS, Civil Protection and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief here in Germany but there getting some other hemlmets as well there still like 50% of all Helmets around.
