Her name is Apfelblüte, and she was a character I created on Ponychan WAY back in the day.
 
Her story is long and very complicated. Attempting to explain / tell it would probably take up an afternoon or so, and it would only be extremely confusing to someone who wasn’t involved in the group… Especially since she was created to tie into another friend’s story, which had been established at least a year or so before I created her.
 
Long Story short, the CMC’s took a wrong turn with their cutie mark crusades and messed with a Necronomicon, each one was pretty much got into some weird demonic shit, and were in one form or another enslaved as dammed souls. Yadda yadda yadda, four years worth of story building with two other friends on that site later, she was saved by a Grim Reaper and became an apprentice of Death.
 
I think when I left the group, she was in her late 20’s, shipped with another character in the group, and had three or four foals. I have more art of her on here.
 
The “flickering” was her phasing in and out of existence. When I made this image was when I first introduced her fully into the story, she was held into that plane of existence through a spell or something, I cannot really remember, anyway it wasn’t that strong of a spell and she flickered.
 
I was soooo much younger then, so I understand the writing was sorta cringe / wannabe-edgy. (At least I feel so) I was really into Soul Eater at the time, so that was a huge source of inspiration for her development in that RP canon.
 
What I want to know is who found this and where? :P
