This is fine, but don’t overdo it. sunset shimmer all the time is a major like human 6. teenagers with adults from real world are the same size. it doesn’t have to differentiate the size

That’s the logic I was using.
 
I do it like this -  
I think in the end of G4, Sunset would have been in her Mid to Late 30s.  
As opposed to the Mane 6, who were clearly in their Mid 40s.
 
So unlike the Mane 5 (other than Twilight)  
Sunset is probably in her 80s-90s.  
Whereas the other Mane 5 are probably dead.

Time seems to flow at a different pace in the world of Equestria Girls considering she was in high school for a few years but gone much longer in Equestria. So maybe she is still alive.
