It would just have to be in the mouth of the one character in the entire story who not only would use the term but would be expected to get it right as a matter of course, too.

I respect pedantic attention to details, as a pedantic sort myself. Phew, rules like that are maddeningly complicated.

You are totally right about the locomotive. It’s 4-8-8-4 “big boy” for heavy freight use. But it looked cool…and I didn’t have access to a more appropriate model to use. (Surprising how often that is a limiting factor with 3D work)

Joking aside, I do take it as a real compliment that anyone reads my comics carefully enough to nitpick. It is nice to have my attention to detail noticed…even when it’s because I got something wrong. XD

Pretty close. The rules differ somewhat depending on what country you’re talking about, those are correct for Britain. In general “Majesty” applies to kings, queens, emperors and emperesses, reigning or not (thus HM Queen Elizabeth II’s mother, also named Elizabeth, continued to be a “Majesty” after King George’s death). Princes and princesses are “Highness” even if they’re regnant (thus Prince Albert, ruler of Monaco, is a “Highness”), and even if they’re not royalty (thus Prince Bismark in Germany was a “Highness”, but not related to the Kaiser). Occasionally but infrequently lower ranks of nobility could also be “Highness”, like the Grand Duke of Luxembourg.

That is quite a locomotive in the first frame. Not really suited to passenger service, but otherwise impressive.

That is what I initially used in the script. But when I actually looked it up, apparently the correct form of address is “You Highness” for royalty in general, “Your Majesty” for a reigning monarch (or diarch, in this case) the first time they are addressed, and “sir” or “ma’am” subsequently during that conversation.
 
You’re not wrong though. Just “Your Highness” repeatedly kind of sounds better. I just am a pedantic wanker. :)

I think I said this on the last Luna comic too, but I love the effect you use for her hair. Really lends a beautiful, ethereal quality to her look.
 
Can’t wait to see where this goes. A 6-part comic staring best princess is a guaranteed win in my book.

So apparently I missed an entire comic. I gotta say, that was some of the best ye-old I’ve read since Season 2 aired.
