Her mane doesn’t actually stand up like that, she just heavily gels it. It is naturally quite straight.
When she sings, sometimes her slight country accent slips heavily into her music and she finds it a bit embarrassing.

Personality
Apple is pretty much the typical rebellious teen, except for the parts where she loves her parents and hates making them worry. She loves to try new things such as extreme sports and is the the leader of a rock band.
She is quite confident in herself and loves to let go on stage in full makeup and glittery gear.

Apple is quite loud, not just in her music but in her general demeanour and way of speaking. She has a short temper and can be quite blunt, having a hard time understanding others’ feelings. Sometimes she wishes she had a sibling to play with.

Background
Applejack and Coloratura deciding to have a foal was a pretty big descisions for the both of them, and after a particularly gruelling pregnancy on Coloratura, Apple Jam finally emerged into the world- kicking and screaming.

Apple Jam had a pretty good childhood, working on and around the farm and helping Coloratura with her songs- probably encouraging her love of music.
