Oh come on. Just because she looks smoking hot in canon, that doesn’t mean we’ll see lewd art of this feline sex goddess I mean character, now will we?

ERRR I highly doubt IDW would except Pencil’s fanon, they don’t expect any fanon in that way.

Not be sure, the writers and the artists must then have a source of inspiration, and we have seen that these often put their own fanon into the comics - especially OC ponies and other things that you do not see at first. Also, only a few outside artists like Equestria Previls had a decisive indirect impact on the show, the comics and the show. It is possible that the IDW will respect Pencil`s fanon as long as they saw no reason to use Catrina, and they will anyway just water her out to a younger audience. But; Catrina in G1 was as aristocratic as possible in contrast to Capper who took his pride in fraud, theft and deception.

Should there be a crossover between Zootopia and MLP G4, many will look forward to the meeting between the fox Nick Wilde and Capper Dapperpaws - who is the only one who managed to fool the famous brothers Flim and Flam in their hometown. It is very unlikely that Catrina will walk in the same social circles as Capper, and it is equally unlikely that she will appear as a villain, I think it is more about political unrest that arose after Abyssinia was destroyed by the Storm King.

An ambassador had appeared in Canterlot. The cat royal couple had gone abroad for help. Capper was concerned about conditions such as “occupation” (by whom?) In his home country. This indicates turbulent conditions that could open up for dishonest forces in the face of the expedition from Equestria - especially with Discord in tow, the abyssinian king had strongly disliked him, he lost half an ear to him. We know from the Cosmos Act that the Abyssinians had magical objects, but when Storm King wanted to steal them, he found only one cursed object. Probably the king had gotten rid of these because they did not work against Discord (he thought so), and Capper will make sure that the magic will return to his people.

It will be interesting if the temple in Abyssinia is the Water temple, water and cats do not go well together.

You know - this abyssinian is reminiscent of Cleo Cat and Roxie from the Catillac Cats in the 1980s. The coat and body shape are very reminiscent of what was seen of the female cats in the cartoon shows at the time. As in Canterlot, it seemed that clothes give status to users that Pencils had once revealed, and since this cat does not wear clothes, for Capper, clothes are of great importance to him as seen in the film - it meant that she is an ordinary cat. But she has a necklace that looked like she was wearing diamonds.

Not Catrina. I think the artist Pencils has kidnapped Catrina for his own evil plans so the IDW comics can not use her as a villain or heroine.

So it is unlikely that she will appear in Abyssinia, moreover, if one were to consider Pencils` fanon, “his” Catrina is a pantheran - it may mean that she comes from the upper classes as an aristocracy and the royals in the capital Panthera , as she spoke a dialect language. It is not uncommon in the human world for different classes in one city to behave and speak differently from one another. We can safely say that Catrina has something aristocratic about her.

If the artists and writers in IDW were to accept Pencils’ fanon if they did not want to use Catrina in future issues, it meant that Capper and his friends as backyard cats and ordinary cats are as far as possible from Catrina herself. And we know about the royal couple in Abyssinia who are charcoal black in their fur.
