I don’t think that it’s about her being transgender it’s more on the lines of her being a bat-pony and they way they are treated earlier on in the show which is why she turned to villainy although I don’t care too much for that, a villain doesn’t need a sad background to want to be evil or be relatable.

Don’t really get how this person came to this conclusion either, it’s a pretty outlandish headcanon to say the least. But I also don’t get why people care so much about other people’s headcanons to begin with, especially if the headcanon is related to sexuality or gender. How is it “forcing” anything, it’s fanart, it doesn’t change the characters in the show.

For Trixie, it was because in development she was a stallion, and Hasbro changed her to a girl very last-minute before the show was released (remember, she was in the 3rd episode)

There is no evidence to her being an adult nor is it implied in any way. There is more evidence to her being a filly then anything. As for having no parents, orphans are a thing that exists. Gallus didn’t have parents, after all.

Let me tell you something, her actions and way of thinking don’t match the ones from a child. She was more likely going to be those cases of villains trapped in a child body. She ain’t no innocent and cute creature. Cozy couldn’t care less about princess Twilight or even her villainous friends. She betrayed Twilight and she knew what she was doing. Can’t we all just stop pretending she is just some filly? Hasbro would never allow a real filly to be punished like Cozy Glow was. The writers and directors just couldn’t give her a proper backstory because there was probably not enough time. Didn’t anyone find Jim’s tweets about Cozy Glow weird? He even said she got no parents.

In the long run, what does it matter? Evil thing get stoned.  
Unless this is all a setup to excuse the evil because tragic backstory and condemn the punishment as phobia and prejudice.

I’m not against Cozy being transbreed, though. That is, maybe she wasn’t originally a pegasus. Though I believe she is a pegasus and identifies as a different race, like a unicorn. Though I imagine Snails would be trans (a lot of the fandom does), who else would be?

Agreed. Admittedly, I’m far from an expert on the subject, but there’s also the fact (as far as I understand it) that LGBTQIA+ individuals are frequently demonized anyways, and linking villains to those groups, whether explicitly or through coding, while not inherently bad in and of itself, does continue a trend that is, quite frankly, problematic.

Why we forcing this stuff on characters? I’m all for transgender awareness, but forcing it upon these characters like Cozy or Trixie is NOT the way to do it
 
And because Cozy’s colors shares the transgender flag, it makes it look like a stereotype
