Sorry mate, TLP is an awful clusterfuck of a mess that has so many problems with it it's not even funny.
For one, why did they push Fluttercord on us? The pairing that made the LEAST waves was Pinkie and Cheese, and that's because it actually felt natural and not "A villain not only gets redeemed but is seen as being in the RIGHT despite doing worse things than the villains who were petrified." and is paired with Fluttershy because it's not like Shy could find somepony better?
Secondly, Appledash has literally no buildup of them as a couple aside from "Rivals in love" and Ashleigh Ball shipping them. Even if you read the IDW "Season 10" it only gives credence for PinkieCheese and not Appledash or Fluttercord.
Thirdly, why is Rarity single? I get Spike likely outgrew his crush for her, but surely she might have wooed Prince Blueblood or something, since those two are interacting in the IDW comics often after that episode.
Fourthly, Rainbow Dash has shown time and time again that she doesn't deserve to be a wonderbolt, and yet she's made their LEADER?
Also I HATED Twilight replacing Celestia, I know the Princesses were moulding her in their image, but could they have done it without deciding to retire while Twilight was in her early 30s at the oldest? Twilight has only been shown doing princess-y things in a handful of episodes, so it's kind of like they just threw it on her because "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
