She didn’t decide to have any punishment after she was revealed in her town and she came to the conclusion that she was wrong only after many attampts by Twilight to get through to her. In other words, she wasn’t immedietly given up on. Discord’s reformation showed that people can change and the heroes were willing to forgive everything he did after he was given the chance.
Luch should have no impact on who gets a chance and who doesn’t.
This is the brony fandom we’re talking about. It’s rule to get angry over a children’s cartoon it seems.

changeling are innocent. but chrysalis is sinful .she had mislead and degraced all of them. so,they would not foegive her, leave alone accept her again.
the life of Chrysalis is a totally tragedy.
Another reason why his actions were just as bad as the trio’s.
And it would be possible to get the same result with the trio if Twilight and co. would just give them a second chance and help them reform. Frenemies proved that they can at least consider and think about helping others and such. With some help, it is very much possible that they could actually embrace it.

Ι also wondered that even in villains wiki they say that she was starving her people.
Which was neither the case in the show or the comics.
Something else i just realized when her hive betrayed her she held hostility to starlight and the ponies even in frenemies she says that they cost her her hive. She held no hostility to the changelings for that.

Well discord definitely didn’t know that toning things down would make him disappear because he never use to care about how others would feel about his chaos/actions before fluttershy and he had no reason to chaos was like breathing and its not about toning things down its about his mindset, he has been in situations as to where he hasn’t used his powers constantly, its about changing his chaotic mindset completely that was having him disappear and why he’ll always be an example of reformed but not tamed.
I agree with this, especially the bit about Chrysalis. She was convinced that her Hive had been “corrupted”, and interpreted friendship as some kind of “disease.” If her comics origin is correct, she’s been ruling the Changelings for over a thousand years. She wasn’t a kind ruler like Thorax, yet she managed to keep the Hive alive in spite of centuries of hunger. The idea that some “grub who betrayed her to the ponies” would somehow find a “better way” than hers implies she was “wrong” for a thousand years. So Starlight’s attempt to reach out to her May have come across as condescending.
I think Pharynx would be the best choice to help reform her. He could show her that sharing love actually doesn’t make them weak.
I do wonder why TVTropes and certain brony reviewers insist Chrysalis deliberately starved her own subjects. At no point in the Season 6 finale was this ever said or implied. In fact, Chrysalis seems bewildered by the transformations. There’s nothing to imply that she knew that would happen. She simply insisted that she knew best. She is clearly selfish and cruel, but there’s no indication she starved her people.
He wasn’t in a position to and he was so much more powerful then his opposition that he didn’t need to use lethal force. If you recall, Tirek only used attacks that can be considered lethal against strong opponents mid-fight. He was more then willing to leave his drained victims alone. The same can be said with the other two. Also, Starlight still tried to kill three of her villagers.
You can replace the boxer with anything else. The key to that argumant that being in a certain profession/ state of being doesn’t excuse you from taking things too far.
Discord is a sentient being capable of feeling the same things in the same way as others do. Therefore, his actions could be judged as such.
Actually, she never specifically learned that as she never tried it. Because of that, she doesn’t know if it would work. Perhaps if she was not allowed to just fly off and taught how about these things to a greater extent like with Discord, she would have eventually reformed. If you recall, Discord saw how creatures can live and even be powerful enough to defeat him without existing in a state of eternal chaos and he surely must have known that simply toning things down wouldn’t make him dissapear.
Starlight.
Cozy got help and instructions from Tirek the first time and was teaming up with Tirek and Chrysalis the second time. Also, she had the element of surprise at her side. While her actions are impressive in how close she got to victory, she needed plenty of help and some luck to make them happen.
Giving her a second chance and reforming her wouldn’t take away from her past actions or personality. Discord and Starlight reforming never did so from them. In fact, having her reform and learn the true meaning of friendship would be great character development for her that wouldn’t put the heroes in such a hypocritical light.
u bring up good points to an extent, yeah Discord wasn’t right away about Friendship but he didn’t try to kill anypony while saying he rejects it, but i don’t know how u can compare someone becoming a boxer to somoeone literally being a embodiment/manifestion of chaos yeah he doesnt need to harm anyone with his chaos but logically speaking if your a embodiment of something your mind is gonna work in that way on a certain level, infact i would argue a similar thing TO AN EXTENT for chrissy she needs love to eat the problem is the reason why she does the things she does isn’t because of love for hunger but because she wants power and control over others which she emphasizes as her changelings are attacking civilians in her song. And the fact she learned she doesn’t need to steal love to fill her hunger. Everytime a character doesn’t reform they have always been defeated and say turned to stone or put in tartarus i see u tryna argue thats only because there too powerful not too or the only way to defeat them but i mean for one its kinda downplaying cozy glow considering all she did without any powers, shes such a great villain don’t know why u want to take that from her lol
