The mare lets out a terrified gasp as tears stream from her eyes, her body simultaneously refusing to move yet ready to flee in terror on a moments notice. Almost as if she believed the act of merely turning her head would seal her fate, she turned her head as if the act was ten times harder to do than it actually was.
In the corner of her eye she saw nothing behind the window, lightning seemed to strike the mare's body as the rest of her body spun to face the window completely with unreal reflexes. She stared at the window almost as if she was transfixed on the sight. Perhaps she believed if she continued to stare at the window, the horrifying creature that once lurked on the other side could not reach her.
Seconds ticked by now as beads of sweat and tears streaked down the mare's cheeks though these seconds felt like weeks, maybe even years to the mare. "Where did she go? Did she decide to leave me alone? But if so, for how long?!" The mare thought.

lol I'm gonna end up writing a mini-fanfic if i keep this up so i'll stop there. :P Funny though, horror has never been my strong point as a writer but its often very fun to write enough though my stories aren't that good.[==\^\^;==]
