I can see she keeps it due to being such a cute bad girl.
Like she’s still snuggly but will kick one’s ass if they end up messing with someone that she cares about(especially after she reforms).
Like not defanged pretty much.
Which was a problem with the changelings after they reformed, they were defanged big time.
(Yes, they took down a big beast together but they will probably get screwed if more than one attacks or they face a threat that is smarter than that beast that attacked)

I think the little fangs actually makes Chrysalis look cute there.
And it’s Chrysalis. She’s almost certain to think she’s beautiful the way she is (given her fanart, she’s not wrong). The holes disappearing would be alright—though if her origins in Fiendship #5 is canon, she might actually be proud of them, viewing them as “battle scars.”
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Take the holes away and maybe make her teeth shrink and she’ll look alright. There will be no need for a color change.
I think their designs are as memorable as their old designs.

While Chrysalis? I would say about her is less about be truly reform but more about ponies are keeping her on leash. So keeping her current looks is fine.

Chrysalis had a lot of potential as an interesting character! Sadly, it appears that it was only fans who recognized this.
