I wish I still had my original brick GameBoy. Oh well, I do have 2 GameBoy Colors, 3 GBAs, a GBA SP, and about 20 other handheld systems capable of GameBoy emulation, so I guess I’m good. 8-3
It has 2-bit color, (4 shades) but it’s an 8-bit system. Alot of the games had graphics as good as the NES. (Or even better, if you ask me. The Gameboy Camera was impressive.)
8 BITs
groans
I thought the gameboy had 4 bit color.
Strictly speaking the original GameBoy had 2-bit colour (four grey levels). It’s classed as an 8-bit system because it used a processor similar to the Intel 8080 and Zilog Z80, i.e. it uses memory addresses, registers, buses, etc. that are 8 bits wide.
lel
8-bit colors.
