And now for a surprise feature on my MLP FiM Swimwear line-up, everyone’s favorite bitchy yet probably complex bad girl griffon (and mine as well), Gilda!

I especially love this character, and I mean literally love Gilda. <3 And I know all of you are gonna say something like “But she yelled at Fluuttershyyy!” Or something like that. But I have an excuse for that, she would be considered my most favorite villain on the show then (next to Tirek from G1). But I’m sure this kind of argument would be dated by now, right?

What really drawn me into liking Gilda so much was the fanbase surrounding her. Half of every fanart that was Gilda-related had portrayed her to later seeking redemption for herself or just being faulty. And I think that’s how I would consider her as, being just faulty with her character and struggling between showing some form of amity to anyone and her arrogance of pertaining her superior image. And since there are other griffons that reside in Equestrian society that are aren’t all antagonizing, namely like Gustave le Grande, this almost clarifies that it isn’t just Gilda being a griffon, but more of the equivalent of an archetypal tomboy bad girl that’s misunderstood maybe. And it’s also because of Gilda of that made me like griffons even more than usual. :)
