Since someone from the staff decided to change this last minute (this kiss and romance was originally IN the script BY the writers!)
So as we all know what happened and we all know about the script and stuff! I decided to create it in a canonical style edit for us Fluttercord shippers.

Actually, they don’t, confirm or deny any. they didn’t want fans to anger each other. I’m pretty sure I know that they have done what they did, something that you don’t know.

A little information for ya: When script writers write something and it is NOT ALTERED out of its original script until it gets halted by its corporate overlords(in this case Hasbro), you should always consider what they originally wrote as cannon instead of what makes it to the episode(s).
Big example: Legend of Kora, script writers wanted to end the series with Kora and Asami kissing as the episode faded out but their corporate overlords said no. So all they could do was heavily hint at it.
which means nobody is wrong. and wasnt changed to friendship. “Open interpretation” means nobody is wrong. so :3 also im pretty sure i know who you are.

They originally had in mind to add that on the show but Hasbro changed his mind, they had that scrapped so that fans don’t get mad at each other. I mean, they changed the script into friendship between fluttercord.. The writers and everyone who worked on the show clearly accepted what Jim said, left the fans an ‘‘open interpretation’’.
They should have had the courage to do it would have loved it
It was actually in the original script for “Last Problem” according to leaked emails. I guess them kissing was too much, not even Cheese and Pinkie kissed. It was still obvious that they are together since they live in Discord realm.
