So maybe not my best idea, since it got mixed responses from the groups I posted the sketch to…but here’s an alicorn zebra. One of those Oh-I-Should-Probably-Be-Sleeping-But-Heres-A-Great-Idea-So-Lets-Get-Drawing creations…
The cutie mark is the Gye Nyame, a tribal symbol that roughly translated means β€œNo one lives who saw the beginning and none but God shall live to see the end”. Some have speculated that it’s an abstraction of a barred spiral galaxy, but how a native African tribe without telescopes can know what a barred spiral galaxy looks like is beyond me.
