Dunno,,,, I had wanted to slightly update one of my older OCs:

yet at the same time I wanted to see how a picture would look like if I solely used black for the shading and using white to highlight instead of the verity of colors I normally use– and HOLY MOOSE TITS can it effect the whole feel of a picture. :o (Eek)

Now I’m not a fan of shading with black.. (as its rather limiting) but the whole idea that it’s seen as such a big art “sin” of sorts has always bothered me…. I believe that if done right, and the artist knows how to do it (read: learn the rules before you break them), it can look just as good as any other artwork as long as you practice. although my art’s probably not doing it any justice lmao

but that’s just me I guess? :shrug:
