Even if it’s hilt-first, that still sounds worrying for both of them. It could easily cut through the stomach at some point, and/or if Starhammer is unlucky, it could land at a position that cuts him when once he falls into the stomach. There’s also the possibility of it cutting either of them if Starhammer tries to grab or move it without being able to see properly.

Here’s what I imagine happens next:

Flower Star gently picks up Starhammer with her tongue.
Starhammer loses her grip on her sword, and it slides hilt-first down Flower Star’s throat.
Flower Star plays with Starhammer for a minute or two before swallowing her alive.
At first horrified by the experience, Starhammer finds after a couple of minutes that she actually enjoys being in Flower Star’s stomach, and makes it her permanent home.
