Background Pony #FAD6
Description shown in /mlp/
This is something I have thought about for quite some time. There are some fan made works that depict Celestia as divine. Fallout Equestria and Anon’s Pie Adventure for example.
In our real history, there existed people like this.
>the pharaohs of egypt
>emperors of japan
Even more recently, whilst not the same but still similar, there have been people with a cult of personality.
>stalin
>kim jong un
In this scenario: Anon ends up in a Equestria where ponies, or at least some of them, view Celestia as divine. He discovers about her through casual conversation with new pony friends he’s made. They tell him she has ruled the country for over a thousand years, how Luna was banished to the moon during that time, and that she raises the sun every day. How does Anon react to this?
Does he believe he is in a theocracy? Does he think this is bullshit and the two sisters are deceiving ponies? Does he become very afraid, thinking he’s in the Pony Soviet Union; where wrong think will get him sent to the pony gulag?
I have never done anything with this, because I’m not a writer, however I’ve always thought this concept could have potential. Maybe for a green text, because I don’t know if it could carry an entire fan fiction.
