Well, there was clearly another reason that Discord was released besides simply trying to reform him. Do you remember what that was?

How does that count as a second chance? Did anyone offer her something like that? Did they try to help her fix her misguided perception of friendship? No, they didn’t and simply going to a school is by no means a reformation program.

You mean that thing that happened a thousand years ago with no knowledge of how it actually went down or what the circumstances were surrounding it with no other attempt made in the thousand years Tirek was locked in Tartarus?

Even here you can see Chrysalis struggling with weather or not to accept Starlight’s hoof. Heck, she basically did what Starlight did at first and run away.

Contrast all three of these examples with Discord, who was released specifically to be reformed despite expressing no desire to do so and even mocked the ponies for trying, was forgiven for the numerous horrible things that he did after he was release and was the mane cause of the season 9 finale stuff. And there’s Starlight who ran away at first only to practically force Twilight to reform her. Compared to these examples, the trio, especially Cozy, got practically nothing.

What about when Cozy Glow was enrolled in the friendship school and given a chance to make? Or when Tirek’s brother Scorpan, after befriending Starswirll, tried to reason with Tirek and talk him out of his first plan to take over Equestria? And let’s not forget this:

Tho I kinda like discord when the writers want him to become grogar, just like tirac becoming lord tirek. Now tambelon is incarnated as cunabula

Mlp tv show was awful anyway since discord decided to be grogar just like tirac gets incarnated as lord tirek thus making discord/windigos Queen chrysails the main antagonists in the tv show I kinda like the new discord disguising as grogar. But at least tambelon gets incarnated as cunabula in mlp season 10 comic.

If people like you are still throwing tantrums because some people are voicing their discontent over an ending to a beloved show, even going as far as to resurrect multi-month old comment sections, then those people need to seek help and accept the fact that they are not the only ones with opinions and rights to speak about it.
 
And perhaps you shouldn’t randomly mention characters from another series as if you expect everyone to immediately know what your talking about.

If people are still looking back on this and throwing tantrums, thinking that the show “betrayed” them or “stabbed them in the back” or even “The writers deserved all the death threats they got”, then, I’m sorry, but you guys need to seek help.

Discord had Fluttershy. He betrayed her right up until he himself was betrayed and continued to do horrible things afterwards. Starlight had her father and townsponies whom adored and trusted her. She ignored her father and attacked three of said townsponies. The trio never had any sort of companionship that wasn’t a villainous allience or master/underling dynamic. Tirek was willing to work with Scorpan until he betrayed them, Chrysalis’s changelings betrayed her in a second and Cozy never had anyone willing to be her companion outside of a convenient/forced allience while they knew about her fassad.
 
And if you say that they could have made friends anyway, that could easily go for Starlight and Discord. The difference is that those two actually got second chances and help specifically for that while the trio, especially Cozy, got nothing of the sort.

But AGAIN A psychopath acts the same way he acts because he was born that way. He cant get a free pass for any sh*tty thing he does. Discord is born that way that is not an excuse. If it is you uphold the same view for anyone.
