Guard: She’s in here, your majesty.
 
The cell door creaked open, and inside of a dimly lit room sat a white alicorn chained up by the wall.
 
Twilight wearily dragged her hooves across the cold stone It had been weeks since she had been told her niece was locked away in the Canterlot Dungeons, and she had rarely slept throughout. She had bags under her eyes and tear stains down her cheeks. Her wife, Rainbow Dash, had been busy training newbie guards, meaning she didn’t have a lot of time to comfort Twilight.
 
The rest of the main six also tried their best to be by Twilight’s side, but each had their own lives and problems to deal with, Fluttershy especially. Twilight felt alone, not only had she been recently grieving for her sister-in-law and brother’s deaths, but now she had their daughter and an empire in danger.
 
Twilight Sparkle: I..
 
Twilight immediately collapsed by Flurry Heart’s side, tears welling up in her eyes. She ruffled her feathers to try hide that she falling apart, as a monarchy she was meant to be seen as strong and that she could handle everything.
 
Flurry Heart didn’t even flinch, this wasn’t her and Twilight knew it.
 
The room remained almost silent for what appeared to be hours, with exception of whimpers coming from Twilight. The pain she felt was unbearable, but she had to smile even if she was breaking.
 
She stood up and looked at Flurry Heart, lifting the young princess’ chin with a hoof.
 
Twilight Sparkle: This is not you, I know it. This has never been you. You’re being corrupted by him..
 
Flurry Heart locked eyes with Twilight, snarling as purple smoke was edmiting from her green glowing eyes.
 
Twilight Sparkle: Please, Flurry Heart. Talk to me.
 
Twilight’s wings hang low as she trembled. How much more did she have to take before she snapped?
 
A team of guards stood by the door, inside and outside of the room to ensure Princess Twilight’s safety.
 
In size, Flurry Heart was a lot larger than Twilight as she was born an alicorn. Everyone in the room knew that even without magic, Flurry could knock Twilight down with ease.
 
Twilight let go of Flurry’s chin and sat in front of her, rubbing her neck against hers. Twilight’s lip trembled as tears would flow down her cheeks like a water fall.
 
Flurry Heart: She’s weak. Soon we will take over the Equestria, then the outskirts.
 
Her voice sounded a lot more demonic than she’d usually sound. But a voice change was expected if it wasn’t just her mindset being taken over.
 
Twilight Sparkle: You’re a monster! A beast! Let my baby niece go! she screamed
 
Two guards approached Twilight and had to forcefully drag her from the room.
 
Flurry Heart only stared, a large smile across her face.
 
Flurry Heart: Bitch.
 
The cell doors slammed behind the remaining guards who left the room. The light went off in the room as distant cackling travelled down the hall.
 
Twilight looked back at the door then ran away as far as she could, hoping she’d be greeted by the love of her wife and children at home.
