I think they pretty much are caricatures of all the snobby bullies the writers had growing up. As such, their potential for character growth is stunted to all hell.
What I want to know is why don’t they ever seem to put any effort into harassing blank flanks that aren’t Applebloom or associated with Applebloom? Do they do it offscreen, or is the whole blank flank thing just something they use to screw with Applebloom?
