Here’s to our honest, orange, tree-kicking cowgirl, background pony and the Teacher of Honesty, Applejack! Clap Love Heart Ponyville’s resident farm gal, she lives at Sweet Apple Acres with her little filly sister, Apple Bloom, her big brother, Big Mac, and his wife, Sugar Belle, and her grandmother, Granny Smith. This makes her very family-oriented. We know her as the most down-to-earth, outgoing, resourceful, and dependable pony around. This talented arboriculturist isn’t afraid to get her hooves dirty working the land, much to neat freak Rarity’s chagrin. We also know that she is very friendly, kind, easy to please, and sweet-to-the-core. And also, she is a natural beauty. This rootin’ tootin’ beauty cowgirl can be the “apple of anybody’s eye” for all I know. Whether she is just wearing her stetson hat or when she dressed up as Applejewel, she is among the most beautiful mares ever. Love Heart
 
But of course, what not only defines her character the most, but what makes her the best friend to have, is her being the most honest pony ever. She would NEVER stoop to telling a lie, not since her snout grew all the way around the world when she was middle-school aged in “Where the Apple Lies.” Because of this, she is a trustworthy friend to rely on. However, telling the truth all the time can cause her as much trouble as with anypony who fibs nonstop. It has kept her from being sensitive to the feelings of others as she could be, despite her best intentions. In fact, it nearly destroyed Rarity’s fashion show in “Honest Apple.” Fortunately, when Rarity saw this as the final straw, and after she got Applejack to see how one pony thought apples weren’t special, AJ finally learned her lesson after seven seasons. Even though she might be blunt, she is still sweet as apple pie. Nod
 
I would like to confess something though. Although I could become friends with Applejack, the chances of us becoming more than that are impossible. Of all the Mane 6, I have the least in common with her. We’re both polar opposites: She’s a hard worker, I’m laid-back and I only work when I feel like it; she loves all apples and apple-made products, I prefer just green apples and don’t eat much apple products (though I do love apple cider); she believes that you should always tell the truth and lying is always wrong, I believe that being blunt is worst than lying, and you need to tone down your honesty; we’re “politically” opposed, like with “Bats!” She preferred to chase off the vampire fruit bats to keep her family business intact; I would support Fluttershy in keeping them around like a fellow environmentalist; and for a time, she used to be so ridiculously overprotective that she treated Apple Bloom like a baby and nearly ruined Granny Smith and her elderly friends’ (as well as Rainbow Dash’s) fun at Las Pegasus, while I don’t approve of it seeing such behavior actually pushing your loved ones towards danger than away. And what’s worst, the two things we have in common are our stubbornness and difficulty in being flexible (I will also be hostile towards anyone who contradicts my views or methods), and this will actually cause more friction between us than less. We would probably argue all the time at best, and have an estranged if not a destroyed friendship at worst. Of all the Mane 6 ponies, she’s actually roused my ire the most. From being overprotective to being stubborn to being shamelessly blunt, I’m glad that my arteries haven’t melted down yet. The only time I agreed with her on was with the Kirin not forcing themselves to be emotionless. Once again, I’m sorry for saying all this, but I had to let you all know. However, this doesn’t mean that I hate her. I love Applejack very much. She’s among the sweetest, kindest, strongest, most dependable, and most honest Earth Ponies ever. I can always depend on her if I need help, and because she is so strong and very caring, I would feel safe if I’m with her. No matter what, despite our opposing views and her tendency to get me frustrated, I will always love our beautiful, inside and out, cowgirl mare. Love Heart
 
Ever since Twilight Sparkle became the new ruler of Equestria, Applejack and her friends continued their lives in Ponyville, but they would see her every moon for the Council of Friendship. Applejack became the new matriarch of the Apple family after Granny Smith passed away. :( (Sad) But Granny always knew that AJ would be a great head of the family. And in memory of her late mother and father and their undying love, Applejack cleared part of the orchard that hid away their conjoined apple and pear trees. And what’s more, the Apple family has grown pears. The Apples and the Pears are truly one family now, both selling their eponymous fruits to all of Equestria. It is speculated that Applejack and one of her best pony pals, Rainbow Dash, got married too, but we all don’t know. But nevertheless, their friendship, as well as their friendship with Princess Twilight and the others, will last forever.
 
Well, this is it. For this future themed pic, I thought I’d put in some apples and pears to represent how Sweet Apple Acres has gone from being just an apple farm, but also a pear farm. And since Applejack is the daughter of two ponies from two families. I also threw in an apple texture for the greeting.

I’m not sure if I love how this all turned out, but I hope you love it, and you too, sweet AJ. Heart Thank you for all your honesty, Applejack. You will always be that great cowgirl pony we all know and love. May you always lend a hoof to those who need it most. We’ll miss you, AJ.
