No Godzilla junior lived at the end because Godzilla’s nukler energy brot hime back to life and he is till alive so your totally running on fumes if you ask me you poorly thought out exscuse for a Godzilla fan

I think Godzilla Junior’s death/rebirth had more weight to it. His death was unexpected not to mention flat out cruel and the last scene where he is reborn and roaring as an adult still sends chills down my spine.

The original script of Godzilla Final Wars had Junior as the Godzilla in that movie. Also, it showed Junior grown up while Godzilla was in ice. That’s my thoughts anyway.

the godzilla films of the 90’s, the Heisei series, is one continuity. Godzilla Jr never appeared again after it.  
all others after Destoroyah are their own movies, separate from one another, except the Mechagodzilla ones  
Final wars , like the rest of the Millennium series, is supposed to be a direct sequel to the first film

Well, I consider Godzilla Final Wars to be set after the events of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. But still, the point is, Godzilla Junior died at the hands of Destoroyah and then was revived even more powerful than he could ever imagine.
