Description
I don’t want to complain from ear to ear
See if who is ahead of me walks away
Deny the reflection that I leave in my mirror
Nor host the rancor between eyebrows and eyebrows
I don’t want to keep so many secrets
Nor be faced in a grotesque picture
Like the Montesco and the Capulets
I don’t want to be obsolete at your age
Neither lose vigor, nor say without rigor
That all past times were always better
Or get to my house obfuscated and annoying
I don’t want to be tired of wearing
And although this truth may hurt
I have to say it, without pleasing
But if I offend, I ask for forgiveness
When I grow up, I don’t want to be like you
I don’t want to make the same mistakes
Nor believe that they are all scammers
I don’t want to handle your same values
Nor that each day is the same as the previous ones
I don’t want to not be able to control my anger
Nor carry that sadness in the eyes
Wet and red, faded and loose
I do not want myself to be my spoils
Nor vehemently blame others
Of what is my concern and responsibility
Not give me to try some idiocy
What I couldn’t do when I was 23
And although this truth may hurt
I have to say it, without pleasing
But if I offend, I ask for forgiveness
When I grow up, I don’t want to be like you
See if who is ahead of me walks away
Deny the reflection that I leave in my mirror
