.: Princess Twilight - Human - MLP :.
I’ve been pretty busy and I’ve had Twilight’s basic sketch done for a while so I thought I’d take some time for myself and finish her.
I’ll be honest out of all the ponies on the show twilights colour scheme is not my fav and it was hard coming up with a outfit that suited her human self. I know the show puts her in baby blues and light purples so I went along with that, I did try dark purples but they felt too evil for her? So I went light and cute!
Out of all the Alicorns in the show she is the most hands on, she is the main character after all. She is constantly fighting villains, solving problems and is basically on her hoofs all day! So I felt her human counterpart should reflect that! Hence why her outfit isn’t as grand or detailed as the other princesses, It is also why I didn’t include certain details like her crown. I like to think this version of twilight lives a simple life despite being a princess, always on the go with her friends protecting Equestria! She would probably lose her crown with all the saving she had to do.
Normally I give the princesses a special gemstone but I felt it was too much for Twilight, she has to go take down Tirek, Chrysalis, Cozy Glow and Sombra for 50th time. She can’t risk having jewels or crowns on her. Her accessories do include, magical gemstones on her belt to enhance her magic, pouches of medicines and other weird stuff from Zecora, and her satchel which most likely has spells and other gizmos. And of course she has a book, because it isn’t true twilight sparkle if she isn’t near a book.
Her main purple dress is meant to resemble a mage a bit, but it is suppose to give off royal vibes hence the sparkles and gold trimmings. But she is a laid back princess in my books, maybe I will draw her in her full alicorn form from “The Last Problem” another time? Also if you are wondering if I had to place this version of her along the timeline, she would have just started her school for friendship!
Next will be a teenage Flurry Heart!
