Backstory: When Destiny was very young, her parents were problematic. Her mother was a narcissist and her father was an alcoholic to escape from his problems. As a result, she spent much of her childhood at her grandfather’s, who was a half-unicorn, half-vampire. However, her grandfather was very lenient towards her as he spent the next few years taking care of her while her parents tried to find a place to stay in Ponyville due to getting evicted from their old home in Canterlot.

After Destiny’s parents found a home, she had to be sent to Ponyville to live with them. This was also when Destiny met her younger sister Irene Sky for the first time. During this, their mother would emotionally abuse them and their father couldn’t do anything about it, so Destiny and Irene ended up taking refuge in a nearby shack.

When Destiny started going to school, she had no choice but to leave Irene behind. At school Destiny would worry that Irene could get hurt by their mother. It didn’t even help that she got bullied at school. Whenever Destiny got home, she would feel upset only for Irene to cheer her up.

During her free time, Destiny would listen to music or draw as a way for her to cope with her problems. However, the more she endured her mother’s abuse, the more she was anxious and depressed, that Irene had no choice but to get her sister the help she needed. Destiny’s mental health began to improve during her time in therapy, that she looked up to Grace as an inspiration. Since Destiny also had body image issues, she would get into contact with Vivera Belle via a magic mirror. Destiny thought that Vivera was only imaginary until she met her in person one day by coincidence.

Growing up, Destiny also started having crushes. Her crushes made her develop a sense of well-being, that she took it by heart and decided to bring peace and love into conflict. Despite her vampire-esque appearance, many ponies began to admire Destiny for her charisma and caring personality. When it came to family, Destiny realized that her parents wanted to have a happy family with her and Irene, but their problems were what prevented their desires from happening. As a result, Destiny helped them get through therapy and restore their family’s status to how they wanted it to be.

Destiny and Irene befriended Sweet Peach, Neko Star, Sailor Blossom, Clover Sparks, and Super Pop after realizing they all had a connection with the Special Gems, seven elements that were used against darkness, backed up by the Elements of Harmony, and together, they all formed the Squad, with Destiny being the leader. They first used them against the Edgelord, who was the dark side of Cheesy. Destiny, despite being the Gem of Love, struggled between being in love with Cheesy and Magic Muse, who was Destiny’s childhood friend. In the end, she realized that it’s okay to be polyamorous, so she ended up being together with both Cheesy and Muse, who also had mutual feelings for her.

Whenever the Squad aren’t together, Destiny usually brings love and peace to those that are in need. She helped Grace get together with Handsome Lullaby, and even restored friendships with those who have wronged her in the past, especially Crystal Cool. One day, Destiny decided to change the charm on her necklace. She decided that she wore her Special Gem. Just as she did, however, it magically caused her to have another side than her sad side: Destiny Vampire. With this side, she was able to defend herself and her loved ones from attacks or predators. She was able to turn back to her normal side when she chose to, and Destiny did so because she didn’t want to stay a vampire forever. Destiny has kept her Special Gem with her since.

I would’ve redesigned Alyssa Rice and Friends (Well, Alyssa was already redesigned, so technically, it’s the rest of her group that needs to be redesigned and given new bios) after redesigning the Awesome 6 and Kai, since they were created after the Awesome 6 and before the Squad, but I was recently given an idea about my second main MLP OC, Destiny Blood, and even before that, I decided to redesign pretty much the rest of the Squad and give them new bios. Not to mention I failed to do the second anniversary of the Squad (Which was in January) because I was busy with school at the time, and I didn’t get to do much. I’m also thinking about introducing Destiny and Irene’s parents at some point after I finish posting the Squad’s redesigns, though I’ve waited quite too long to do so for controversial reasons.

Feel free to draw Destiny Blood, or any of my OCs if you like! :) (Smile)

I hope you enjoy, and more art will be coming soon! Love
