Rainbow Dash and Applejack have a rematch following the events of Fall Weather Friends. Unfortunately, Twilight’s learned a new skill and isn’t shy of showing it off. They were not ready for that one.
 
After weeks of trying I managed to convince my friend to draw some art for the Depibooru 2020 community collab. Soon after the collab, my mind became set on a new idea: “The Trilogy”. I have one drawing on Derpibooru, my friend has one drawing on Derpibooru. The next obvious step was for us to work together to make a third drawing together.
 
My friend TheBellFibe came up with the idea for this drawing and specified how it should be done. Although they did not actually draw any of the image they were very involved in the specifics of the image, most notably the choice to smooth shade. The rough sketch was created in paint.net but last minute I switched to GIMP 2 which I had not used for drawing before. This was also my first time smooth shading instead of cel shading so making this image was a very slow process for me. In the end this was a big test of my skill and I really pushed to make it as good as I possibly could. Although the shading is a bit off I’m still very happy with how it turned out and I’m happy to have brought an idea to life with a friend. It also only took 8 months to convince my friend, get the idea, and actually draw it. Speed.
