I’ve always wanted to do these little Instragram games! I don’t know which one is currently the most popular so I picked this one despite it not being very recent. ⠀
The biggest thing I learned from this project was to familiarizing myself with drawing on Photoshop again. I kept it very sketchy and loose for that reason. I also suspect that it’s for this reason that some came out better than others unfortunately. The biggest challenge definitely was learning about Instagram strict aspect ratio rules. In any case, it was a great learning experience!⠀

@anthousasiounis asked for Applejack from the My Little Pony franchise. I didn’t think too hard on this one. Just a simple joke that made me smile.⠀

@mrgustavitojr asked for Ruby Gloom from Ruby Gloom (2006). She is a rag doll like Raggedy Ann so I thought I would repeat the same joke but add a bit of story with the cobwebs and spiders.⠀

@909088088908099ll asked for the dangerous Chimer Ant, Neferpitou from Hunter x Hunter (2011). I thought I would keep on theme and repeat the same joke. She is so cute!⠀

@annieyamaya asked for Toothless from the How to Train Your Dragon series. I took my own interpretation from the books. I was inspired by salamanders and kittens.⠀

@opu_oppai asked for Yv from the game Nuclear Throne (2013). Yv is all about them dolla dolla bills and I think the camera work really captures the intensity of the game. ⠀

Finally I did the Silly Duck Wizard for @terryibele unsolicited. I wanted to capture how crazy looking he would look if he was rendered more realistically. ⠀
