Having difficulties in relationships might be an indication you’re attracting the wrong type of mare my friend.  
Are you being yourself, or trying to be someone else to attract a mate?  
Always stay true to who you are & try not to be somepony you simply aren’t.
 
While our lives are indeed finite, I try not to worry if I myself might have missed that special someone. From time to time I worry somepony else stole her away and are treating her like dirt, wearing down the beautiful spirit of the one I myself still dream of meeting one day…
 
Stay strong and don’t give up on yourself friend, you just have not met the right mare yet. ^^
