Fluttershy wants Spike bad from what I can see.
I think there was a VA commentary with Cathy where she says she thinks Spike should go for Fluttershy instead of Rarity. Dunno if that means she thinks Spike goes better with Fluttershy or she hates Rarity but “that’s how love works” in cartoons. A character will usually fall in love with the unattainable one.
So it is semi-canon
I found that scene, and not only someone had to ask them to (they can’t just day no to that, it would look rude since they are there for the fans), but I think Cathy said something along the lines of “creepy” before talking as Spike.
It was at a some con panel, don’t remember which though
They do? Haven’t seen anything to support that.
Not totally canon but almost, even their VAs likes the ship.
It’s been canon, they writers just haven’t picked up on it at all though…
