Nope. It’s more of, Predaking is Shockwave’s latest experiment and perfect combination of alien (to them mostly) remains and cybertronian biology. Now the Autbots are stuck without Optimus and have to deal with this experiment out to get them.

I just wonder what kind of upgrade the good guys might get.
 
Obviously the US military will serve as redshirts (assuming they appear at all).
 
Tbe best bets would be either humans finally finding a way to effeciently produce transformers or dinobots jumping out of nowhere and helping the autobots for one reason or another.
