After what Capcom’s been doing with Devil May Cry I don’t think we’d see a new anime of it for a while.
Best thing by far though is the soundtrack, give it a try. Track 17 is brilliant imo.

I think Patty was necessary to balance Dante laziness and general lack of reaction (or maybe he was just to laid back?), plus, Damsel in distress.
Patty is not annoying! Dante is annoying eating pizza and sundae all day and making a mess!
