You might be on to something with the wings & her magic / potions having a connection. When she’s doing something magical they are there, but gone when the magic’s vanished
If it is a potion, let’s just hope Pinkie doesn’t by change drink some of it O.o
This is her first appearance in the episode, and when we see her again, she has wings until she trips over that rainbow. I think she has some spell (or potion) to hide her wings. Or maybe the potions are giving her wings, and also the ability to conjure more potions. Sounds like a power singularity to me :P her name is ironic because a supernova is sometimes accompanied by a black hole
