You’re right, this thread should be dead lmao.

Imo G5 is good but flawed, all the mane characters are mister and misses perfects atm with no flaws to make their better attributes shine. If the series once its launches doesn’t fix this, then G5 may be an okay series but it will have nothing on G4 in terms of world building, character development, ect.

Hey, I know this thread should be dead. But I’m interested in knowing what’s the opinion of the anon who posted this with the G5, because I shared many of the points he had about Pony Life. So, knowing the opinion of him about the G5 could be interesting.

The self-entitled G4 purist rises from the depths after a long slumber to continue to berate giving Pony Life a fair chance and thinks anyone who dares like something they don’t is a tasteless hack, while also treating their opinions as objective fact. One has to wonder why he keeps doing this, especially since much of the hate for Pony Life has died down and many people seem to have warmed up to the series. Perhaps he’s the cone clinging to much on the past.  
Will he keep bashing those who want to give different parts of the franchise a fair chance? Will he ever get off his high horse and finally accept that there are people who like stuff he doesn’t? Tune in next week to find out!

The reason for the “giant fanfic” as you call it or whatever was all for the delivery. See, I’m STILL watching this image thread just not as eagle eyed as before and every single person who replies defending pony life still just keeps on revealing how desperate for more G4 and/or petty they are.
 
They want to cling so hard to a series that is over that ANYTHING, even a poorly done Teen Titan’s Go version of them is enough, which kinda says alot about them when you think about it… After all, if they find the versions of the main six from ponylife acceptable, then it shows how much they actually paid attention to the actual series characters and reveals them as little more than tailgaters who were most likely in it for the porn or because their friends were into it rather than the TV show itself.
 
Then you got the other portion, the ones who followed the show, known the characters, but desperately don’t want G4 to end and are willing to put up with 1-note pos versions of their favorite ponies just so they can get their G4 fix. These guys more than the tailgaters will get up in arms when you tell them facts like I did in this gif because they don’t want to face the truth:

Whats more ridiculous is some images of “Black lives matter” getting their comments locked despite not a single comment was made on there.

I am more flinching from the memory of how the writers shafted Spike in that premiere by having him just brainwashed and shoved aside rather than whats going on here in this post.
