behold. Sunstar’s royal wear.
Sombra still wears his old tyrant armor, well, a copy of it. he wears it as a symbol, to represent his rebirth and redemption. Sunstar was told the story of his tyranny all her life, and how he recovered from it. she was proud to be a descendant of King Sombra, and wanted to show that. so she commissioned her own armor.
implementing designs from the reputable Rarity and Sassy Saddles, along with elements of her sire’s armor, and her father’s role as a powerful wizard. she is an excellent spellcaster, and her armor is made of metal that helps cast magic and harness powerful spells. the metal was personally selected by Celestia herself.
she doesn’t wear it all the time, but she does wear it whenever she goes to important public events (she usually wears dresses to galas and other things like that).
