The whole point of accurate tagging is that it should have been hidden before people who don’t want to see hate content ever have to see it. The system is completely broken if they have to 1. see every image they’re trying to avoid before they can hide it, and 2. have to hide it manually every single time for every single image.

It’s a pony getting booped on the nose. Why is it that her just happening to look like Aryanne make you cry about white supremacy? That was never my argument. My argument is only that if this is not Aryanne, it needs to be tagged with clarity, otherwise, how is it not the character it is identical to?  
If someone posted a picture of Littlepip or Apogee, tagged it just “OC” with no specific name, and failed to clarify how this is really their “unnamed” OC and NOT the well-known character it is identical to, you’d never buy that bullshit, and there would be no contention if someone added the correct tags.  
So why is there a controversy here all of a sudden?
