I wonder how many people in the fandom came in too late to know Cupcakes. I wonder how many of them don’t realize that Pinkie was peppy and cracking jokes all the way through, rather than her flat-maned Depressed Pinkie personality.

Thanks! And yeah, it might just be my bias as a Fandom Old, but I feel like a lot of the earlier fandom stuff goes relatively unseen by the newer bronies. Moonstuck, for instance, is apparently less well-known than I would’ve suspected.
I mean, Cupcakes was technically the first MLP fanfic I ever read, and I joined the fandom in late-2017. For all I know, though, I’m probably the exception to the rule, so there’s that.
