I missed both launch and docking of Crew Dragon mission, but even watching replays of those I was very exited. Finally times of monopoly for manned space launches are over and now, hopefully, we’ll see more activity around space and even bigger achievements.

OP is referring to Roscosmos, or the Russian Space Agency. They were the only ones in the world that had a manned orbital class rocket after the retirement of the Space Shuttle in 2011. With Crew Dragon, there are now two options to put humans into space. Hopefully Starship comes soon too.

Calling space travel a monopoly is kinda silly, anyone could’ve made companies do this at any time, it was just not within their ability. Not to mention NASA is publicly funded so yeah not really a monopoly.
