Paramount was the one behind the original design.
My point was if it was only fans were upset the v design would not have happened
The Sonic movie redesign didn’t even need petitions it was so poorly received. Not to mention, even Paramount & Sega weren’t entirely happy with the original design either.
In order to have even the slightest chance of working it would need almost 100% of the viewershipand despite what some people may think the fandom is not most of the population.in fact for example the sonic REdesign had a nothing to do with the fandom but the general audience

Even online petitions that get thousands of signatures don’t usually work.
Hasbro & DHX are not going to spend $1,000.s to redo a whole 26-episode Season, just because 100 people sign an online petition.
(There’s more people then that inside a shopping mall.)
I still can’t believe people actually think a petition like that will actually work specially when it’s only asking for 100 signatures.
