Low quality tf work? I havent seen that, really.
I believe the reason they hate it is because not of the quality of the artwork, but because of the QUANTITY.
And all of the low-quality TF images are posted by Anti-TF trolls.
And Prime is hardly controversial, compared to the movies if nothing else.
Crossovers can be done well. Works based on any particular franchise can be both worse and better than their source material. It depends on the artist/writer.
Yeah, it all depends of the year in which the franchise restarted too. For example, spiderman. The cool nerdy guy with spider powers, then the trans-metal guy in another universe, then the multiple multiverse spidermen fighting the same enemy, and bla bla bla.
Originally Superman couldn’t even fly but could just jump really high. He’s always been a product of his time.
When he was first produced he fought corrupt politicians and bankers, for example.
It was later, during the silver age that he became the all American hero that has pretty much stuck with him. Many believe it was to be a role model and inspiration for American ideals of strength and justice.
